We are a Canadian owned & operated hotel and hostel, located in the popular Sosua neighborhood of "El Batey" on the tropical Caribbean Island of the Dominican Republic. Vacation accommodation for those of you on a budget. Not “cheap”, just inexpensive and more affordable than other options (and a lot more fun!). The Coco hotel and hostel is just minutes from downtown Sosua, main beach, bars, discos and casinos. We are a 15 minute drive from the Puerto Plata International Airport (POP) and offer transport for a nominal fee.All our 15 rooms are clean, quiet, secure and all include private en suites, ceiling fans, electronic safes and free WiFi. We offer hot water, well maintained swimming pool, and back up energy systems (inverser and generator)

Our bar is the friendliest in the area and very personal. Enjoy meeting and talking with other guests from around the world. The geography and history lessons are invaluable. All our guest would agree that the Coco bar is the best fun in the area as well as the most informational.
